Installing Woopra Beta on Ubuntu 8.10 with Wine

Well I was having a hard time installing the .sh file that was on the download page for the linux machines from the Woopra Download page. So what I did was Goto Add/Remove Wine and added it. Wine allows you to run windows programs on Ubuntu. Click Here To Read On

Ubuntu 8.10 Resolution Issue on Dell Latitude D600 Laptop

I have noticed that changing the resolution on my Laptop System>Preferences>Screen Resolution , casues my screen to go black. Leaving the computer on but nothing to see because the computer never renders the desktop. So what i had to do was plug in a spair monitor into the D600 laptop and reboot the machine. Once the laptop boots the Ubuntu will recognize the spare montior and you will be able to see the desktop again on both the Laptop monitor and the spair. Now disconnect the spair monitor.
